Marianne Cadio
Hi! My name is Marianne Cadio and I am a second-year architecture major at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. I also plan on getting certificates in Historical Preservation and Japanese language & culture. As for a bit of background, I am half Japanese, half French and fluent in 3 languages plus some proficiency in Spanish! I love traveling the world and hope to be able to work abroad in the future. While furthering my passion for diversity, hard work, and creativity through organizations at UC, I hope to also learn how to become a better leader and global citizen. I am very excited to expand my connections through UC both on a local and international level and to see where my journey will take me during these next 4 years. As for my participation on UC, I am currently the Co-president of NOMAS (National Organization of Minority Architecture Students) as well as the President of JELE (Japanese English Language Exchange). While I am getting my volunteer hours through working at Roh's St Cafe, I will never say no to an opportunity to volunteer in interesting projects, whether they be architecture related or something entirely new!
